mollymoonbeast-deactivated20110 asked: I was intrigued by that last question. I'm cutting back on meat and trying to go at least more veg-friendly for health reasons. I'm thinking I might give it up for Lent. My husband likes vegetarian dishes, and we're having at least a meat-free day once a week now, but he definitely isn't interested in giving it up, and I'm cool with that. How do you navigate meal times? Do you each make differen things, or do you make one thing that meat could be added to (I'm thinking like tacos)? If this is too prying, please feel free to ignore it.

Good for you! It’s a great decision. Start with what you can manage and go from there.

Sometimes him & I cook meals like stirfry or fajitas that he can add meat to, but we’ve started cooking together a lot, so more often than not we make delicious vegan food that we can both enjoy. We love experimenting with recipes and treasure hunting for new ingredients at the farmers market. It’s like making edible art together :)
